U pripremi su dva tribute albuma posvećena Ramonesima, na kojima će učestvovati Thurston Moore, Napalm Death, Dave Lombardo, Blöthar the Berserker iz GWAR-a, Voivod i mnogi drugi.

Magnetic Eye Records je najavio naredna izdanja svoje “Redux” serije, u kojoj različiti izvođači obrađuju čitave kultne albume. U čast legendarnog benda Ramones, izdavačka kuća priprema dve kolekcije – jednu posvećenu istoimenom debitantskom albumu Ramonesa iz 1976. godine i drugu koja će predstavljati najbolje iz ostatka njihove kultne pank diskografije.

Numere su već snimljene i uključuju niz jedinstvenih saradnji: Napalm Death sa Thurstonom Mooreom (Sonic Youth); David J (Bauhaus) sa Paulom Wallfischom (Swans, Botanica); Arthur Brown sa Blötharom the Berserkerom (GWAR); Dave i Paul Lombardo sa svojim bendom Venamoris i Eiccom Toppinenom (Apocalyptica); Kayo Dot & Ihsahn (Emperor); Voivod sa JG Thirlwellom i mnogi drugi.

Ovi tribute albumi – “Ramones Redux” i “The Best of Ramones Redux” finansiraju se putem Kickstarter kampanje, koja je već premašila cilj od 6.000 dolara.

Dok još nije dostupna zvanična lista pesama, trenutnu listu učesnika možete da vidite ispod. Tačan datum izlaska još nije objavljen, ali se očekuje da će tribute albumi stići početkom juna ove godine.
